This summer, Walla Walla Summer Theater celebrates its fifth season with two extraordinary productions at the Fort Walla Walla Amphitheater.

Two blockbuster musicals. Twelve performances. One unforgettable summer under the stars.

And we have an ambitious goal: welcome audiences back into the amphitheater's historic seating bowl for both productions.

In 2026, we brought musical theater back to Fort Walla Walla after the venue had been dark for 14 years. With the historic seating bowl still closed, we turned the amphitheater around, bringing audiences onto the lawn while the empty bowl stood on the other side of the stage. More than 5,000 tickets were sold.

This summer, we want to turn things around again, bringing audiences back into the bowl where generations of Walla Walla theatergoers once sat.

We're raising $500,000 for improvements needed to prepare the amphitheater for 2027, including seating restoration, accessible paths and restrooms, water and sewer, and other essential site work. This is an important step toward a much larger vision for the amphitheater's future.
